Few can contend with Emily Blunt and John Krasinski's reign as the ultimate Hollywood couple! The doting parents of two and A Quiet Place co-stars have been making the red-carpet rounds of late and haven't missed a sartorial step – including at the Golden Globes on Sunday (Jan. 6), where they kicked off awards season in high style. But what really touched fans the world over was their love for each other ... And how they show it!
The Office star was in tow to support his beautiful wife, who received a nod for reprising the iconic role of Mary Poppins in Mary Poppins Returns. Though she didn't take home the golden statue for best actress in a musical or comedy, that didn't stop her 39-year-old beau from being her cheerleader. An adorable moment was captured after her name was called in the line of contenders and, cupping his hands around his mouth, he shouted his praise for her.
But of course, the 35-year-old beauty really dressed the part while celebrating her biggest year to date. Emily looked absolutely stunning in a semi-sheer crocheted gold Alexander McQueen gown that boasted a high neckline and an asymmetrical hem. Anchoring the look with a pair of silver heels and a simple makeup look, she kept her blond locks pulled back in fishtail braids with face-framing tendrils. John, handsome as ever, rocked a smart navy blue tuxedo.
The nominated actress had quite the fun-filled year in 2018! From stepping into Mary Poppins' shoes to joining forces with John for his directorial debut thriller A Quiet Place, she's gone from strength to strength. Opening up about working together in a rare joint interview with the Hollywood Reporter, the Devil Wears Prada star revealed: “I broke the rule for him and him alone” as the couple gushed over one another.
The rule? Time with her family, including daughters Hazel, 4, and Violet, 2, between films. "I have a minimum of a five-month rule between projects, other than A Quiet Place," she explained. And though time apart goes with the territory, John found himself happily jetting between Montreal and London while shooting Jack Ryan. "When I got [to London], I was so destroyed from time zones and not sleeping and all that and was so excited to see my kids, it didn't matter I had no sleep," he revealed before gushing about his wife. "On top of it, there was nothing from Emily but love and support." It's no wonder fans can't get enough of these two!
