Celine Dion has descended on Paris Couture Fashion Week once again and she’s brought her partner in crime, backup dancer Pepe Munoz. Clad in a plunging black gown with her hair in a sleek bun, the Canadian chanteuse was clearly having a ball as the pair hammed it up for the cameras and had an animated chat in the front row.

Whether they’re more than friends, as has been reported in the past, remains to be seen but either way they’re one glam pair! Dazzling in her glittering Alexandre Vauthier design with a thigh-high slit, chic pumps and dangling diamonds, the 50-year-old was snapped clutching the face of her 35-year-old friend. The charismatic duo clapped and cheered for their mutual friend, designer Alexandre, after sharing a few whispers during the show. At one point, the award-winning singer rested her hand on Pepe’s knee.

The dynamic duo made their way to the Armani Prive show, where they posed with Giorgio Armani himself. Celine stunned yet again in a suiting-inspired ensemble that paired black wide-leg trousers with a silky white shirt that features a tail and an oversized black bow at the neckline. She traded her updo for a low ponytail.

Pepe and Celine first met through mutual friends in Las Vegas, where the mother of three has a residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace (ending June 2019). It was then that she asked the Spaniard to join her on her international tour, he told Vogue back in 2017 – and it’s obvious why they became fast friends!

Both share a love of high fashion (and according to their recent photos, a good sense of humour!), and she happily took him under her wing. “She’s the kind of person [for whom] the day has no schedule, no time, no nothing, so whenever she feels the creativity coming, that’s what happens,” he told the glossy of his dance rehearsals with her. “I’m going to be honest, I was freaking out … Then five minutes into it, she makes you feel welcome, like you belong to the family, and like you’re part of the group.”

The fashion illustrator has shared many drawings of his close Quebecois friend on his Instagram. Most recently, he posted a photo of the star in a stunning black-and-yellow Alexandre Vauthier FALL 2018 creation.
