It looks like Taylor Swift may skip out on Sunday's Grammys (Feb. 10) to attend the BAFTAs alongside the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge! The "Shake it Off" singer is nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album, but the music awards show is set to happen on the same night as her boyfriend, The Favourite star Joe Alwyn, is nominated at the British film awards. The 29-year-old has also been in London for the past few weeks filming the new movie, Cats.
Kensington Palace confirmed on Wednesday (Jan. 30) that the duke and duchess will attend the prestigious and glitzy affair. Prince William is the president of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts and will present the Fellowship award – the highest honour bestowed by the Academy to an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to film, television or games. This year’s recipient is Thelma Schoonmaker, and Duchess Kate will be on-hand to meet with BAFTA representatives and watch the ceremony.

The royal couple have been active supporters of the organization. They first attended the event in 2017, and also made an appearance last year when the Duchess of Cambridge was pregnant was Prince Louis.
The last time Taylor attended the Grammys was back in 2016. That year she won three statues, including Best Album, Best Music Video and Best Pop Vocal Album. It's also been a while since the singer actively engaged with fans on social media. Her most recent post showed her sitting in her trailer while on the set of Cats. "This trailer courtesy of Cats the film. Cat hair on my jacket courtesy of actual cats, Meredith and Olivia," she captioned the image.
