Lea Michele’s engagement ring was a stunner, but then she shared her wedding band and... wow! The 32-year-old newlywed debuted the sparkling new accessory on Instagram Stories on Monday, alongside images of her enjoying her honeymoon with her new husband.
“That wife life,” is how the Glee alum captioned the first photo of the band that perfectly matches the “4-carat elongated, radiant-cut engagement ring ” Zandy Reich proposed with back in 2018. The former Scream Queen went on to share a few other envy-inducing snaps of her tropical paradise getaway: one of her and her husband celebrating, another of a palm tree blowing in the wind, and a final one where she’s sipping a beverage from a coconut with the caption, “she put the lime in the coconut.”
The happy couple tied the knot on March 9 in an intimate ceremony in northern California in front of several of Lea’s former co-stars, including Glee’s Darren Criss and Becca Tobin. Emma Roberts, with whom Lea worked in Scream Queens, also attended, and Glee creator Ryan Murphy, who is one of Lea’s close friends, officiated the ceremony.
The two lovebirds previously told People, “We are so excited to be married and grateful to be surrounded by our friends and family. And most of all, we're so happy to spend the rest of our lives together. ”
Lea also told the publication how she chose the sensational and timeless Monique Lhuillier gown she wore for the ceremony. “My dress is very classic, which was very important to me,” the actress said of the strapless ball gown. “It’s important to [Zandy and I] that we look back on our photos, and that they’re classic. I wanted to stay away from a lot of current trends.”
She went on to recount what it was like to pick out “the one” in front of family and friends. “In the entire wedding process, that was one of my most favourite moments, being at that fitting with [stylist] Brad [Goreski], and with my mom, and letting my mom see me wearing my wedding dress for the first time was so magical.”
Lea and Zandy had been dating for a year when they announced their engagement in April 2018. She had previously been in a relationship with her Glee co-star Cory Monteith until he passed away in 2013.
