Each and every one of us has challenges, obstacles and difficulties in life, regardless of our status or who we are. That’s something Oprah Winfrey knows all too well and is something she’s learned repeatedly over the course of her career – which has also been spent helping others become their best selves. That’s also the idea behind Oprah’s upcoming Your Path Made Clear tour, which is coming to Canada this June!
Oprah will visit Toronto on June 14, Montreal two days later, Calgary on June 19, Edmonton the next day, and Vancouver on June 24. She’s promoting her new book, The Path Made Clear: Discovering Your Life’s Direction and Purpose, which is intended to help readers find what they “really need in order to achieve personal contentment.” Tickets for all five shows go on sale Friday (May 3).
“Oprah Winfrey will speak about the moments throughout her life that helped direct her on her path before being joined on stage by a special guest who impacted her journey for a unique one-on-one conversation,” a press release from Live Nation reads.
Who could that special guest be? While nothing’s been confirmed, Oprah’s best friend is journalist Gayle King, who, like Oprah, is well known for interviews full of depth, so she’s an obvious choice for a tour-mate.
Royal fans also know Oprah is also working on an upcoming mental health series with Prince Harry that’s set to air on Apple TV in 2020. But his involvement in this tour seems far less likely given Duchess Meghan is set to give birth to Baby Sussex any day and he’ll likely want to stay close to home with the newborn. At any rate, the conversation is likely to be incredibly rich, and we can’t wait to hear about who’ll be joining Oprah on stage!
