Stars react to Prince Harry and Meghan’s royal baby birth
By Meaghan Wray
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex officially welcomed a baby boy on Monday (May 6), and big names from close friends to politicians took to social media with their excitement. Meghan’s royal wedding makeup artist Daniel Martin, former First Lady of the United States (and friend of Meghan!) Michelle Obama, the duchess's Suits co-star Patrick J. Adams and more shared their congratulations.
The Becoming author and former politician, who met with Meghan in secret last year, shared her congratulations.
Congratulations, Meghan and Harry! Barack and I are so thrilled for both of you and can't wait to meet him. #RoyalBabyhttps://t.co/mfE7uc6ooV

Dior brand ambassador Daniel took to Instagram to regram the @sussexroyal baby birth announcement, simply captioning it: “Proud #guncle” with a blue heart emoji. He’s been with the duchess through thick and thin, and joined her in New York City for her baby shower in February and even reportedly popped over to London just before her baby was born.
Patrick – who played Meghan's on-screen love interest in Suits – became a first-time father himself just seven months ago, and shared his happiness for the couple. “Just heard that the world just got heavier by 7 pounds and 3 ounces. Much love to him and his incredible parents. Learned first hand 7 months ago how transformational becoming a parent is and couldn’t be happier for Meghan and Harry as they begin this adventure. #playdatesoon,” he wrote on Twitter.

It’s a boy! Congrats to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. The royal baby is 7th in line to the British throne...and the latest entry in the race for the iron throne.

The #royalbaby is here! Congratulations, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. The baby is 7th in line for the throne, which is crazy, because right now I’m 7th in line for the key-making kiosk at my grocery store. @RoyalFamily
