In a rare move, Lady Gaga has finally spoken about her separation from ex-fiancé Christian Carino.
The pop superstar introduced one of her songs with a heart-wrenching statement while she was performing during her Las Vegas Enigma residency on Sunday (June 2).
“So, last time I sang this song, I had a ring on my finger,” she said.

“Tonight will be different,” she continued in video footage a fan shared of the “Poker Face” singer walking across the stage in a glittering silver gown, flashing her ringless wedding finger.
She went on to sing a beautiful rendition of the song “Someone to Watch Over Me” by Ella Fitzgerald.
Fans were excited for the winner of nine Grammys, two Golden Globes and an Oscar, who announced her engagement to talent agent Christian, 50, in October. Four months later, the singer’s representative confirmed to People they were calling off their engagement.
“It just didn’t work out. Relationships sometimes end,” a source shared with the glossy. “There’s no long dramatic story.”
There was speculation the two were an item after they were spotted loved-up at a Kings of Leon concert in 2017. Gaga confirmed the engagement during an emotional speech at Elle’s 25th Annual Women in Hollywood Celebration.
The 33-year-old briefly opened up about the relationship during a New York stop on her Joanne World Tour in August 2017.
“When I went backstage, Christian was by the stairs making sure I was okay,” she said. “The best part about being in love with someone is having them there to catch you if you fall.”
This was Gaga’s second engagement. She was previously set to wed boyfriend Taylor Kinney before the two broke up in July 2016.
