Weddings are supposed be the things of dreams. Idyllic, perfect, happy and full of pleasant memories, marriage ceremonies are seen as massive milestones for those who have them. The planning, stress and difficulty that go into them are supposed to create picture-perfect events that people will remember for the rest of their lives as they say “I do.” But what if it all goes wrong? What if tragedy gets in the way and a wedding turns into a disaster?
Jessica Mulroney is set to host I Do, Redo, a new series for CTV and Netflix that will examine turning wedding disasters right. It will be her first ever TV series and will feature 10 episodes of 30 minutes in length that will see her re-make the weddings of 10 different couples. It will premiere in Canada on CTV and CTV Life, will be available on streaming service Crave in Canada, and will be distributed internationally through Netflix.
“When I believe in something, I go after it at full speed, and I’m blessed to be able to create a show that truly inspires me,” Jessica said. “We are aiming to make a significant difference in the lives of our chosen couples whose first weddings did not go as planned due to tragic circumstances. This is a side of the wedding industry that has never been shown on television before.”
In an Instagram post about the show, the Good Morning America contributor (who is also one of Duchess Meghan's best friends) said she's been pushing to make it happen for nearly five years.

PINCH ME MOMENT: CTV AND NETFLIX WORLDWIDE. HERE WE GO ........ When I believe in something, I go after it at full speed. I am so blessed that I can show the world a side of myself that truly inspires me. A side that can help real couples get over tragedy or distress and hopefully make a significant difference in their lives. A side of the wedding industry that has NEVER been shown on television. An idea I have been pushing to make happen for almost five years. Thank you to Randy Lennox, Jay Peterson, @netflix, @ctv, @boatrocker @insight.productions, my family, my friends and my FOLLOWERS who continue to build me up and who drive me to be a better person through authenticity and LOVE.
Jessica is the perfect host for the series. In addition to her aforementioned Good Morning America gig, she regularly does style segments for CityLine and worked with Hudson’s Bay to help launch bridal line Kleinfeld in Canada in 2014 and has since worked for Hudson’s Bay as their Fashion and Bridal Specialist.
“Jessica is a tremendous talent with a huge heart who has committed herself fully to this project,” said John Brunton, CEO and Executive Producer with Insight Production. “We are beyond thrilled to be partnering with Jessica on I Do, Redo, and to be creating a show that is not only full of heart and soul but also makes a difference in the lives of everyday people.”
We can’t wait to watch it, and we bet Meghan can’t, either!
