Emma Watson reveals the interesting items in her handbag

By Heather Cichowski

Emma Watson is a supremely talented actress, activist, book club founder and so much more. If you have always wondered how she keeps on top of everything and what exactly she keeps in her bag, she is spilling the details!

In the latest edition of British Vogue's "In the bag" series, Emma divulges the contents of her handbag. And some might say that what's inside is pretty magical!

The former Harry Potter actress begins that her “friends call her the bag lady.” She says the reason for this is that she “[doesn't] really pack light.”

A scarf is the first item she pulls out of her multicoloured bag, explaining that she "is always freezing cold.” Next, the British star reveals that she has two phones: one for personal use and one for work. However, she admits that they are often both dead!

The varied mix continues with a leather hair scrunchie, Pop Rocks candy, a bag of vitamins and the latest book from her book club, Beloved by Toni Morrison. There is also a stack of thank-you cards and a cute hot water bottle!

Then, Emma gets into her fashion and beauty picks including washable makeup remover pads, tooth mousse and sunscreen.

Emma also posted a promo video on her Instagram about her bag. She explained further details about her shopping choices.

“Truth! 90 percent of what is in this bag (and the @mmaa.social bag itself) came from a little store in London called @contentbeauty,” she wrote. “I buy everything there from beauty to swimwear to jackets and T-shirts to shoes. Their vintage edit is perfect. Their underwear is the softest/most comfortable you can find. They select such special jewellery and books.... if you’re visiting london - Go!”

Content Beauty is described as a “sustainable fashion and living store.” It has been selling natural beauty products since 2008. Last year, it transitioned from a beauty store to a full-fledged department store curating items and brands that “are driven by respect for both planet and people.” The Content Beauty store might only be in London, but fans are able to shop online.
