Jennifer Aniston reveals Reese Witherspoon asked Beyoncé for her champagne at the 2020 Golden Globes

Attendees at the 2020 Golden Globes were treated to a vegan meal, but it seems like there weren't quite enough drinks to go around at certain tables, according to a hilarious story from Jennifer Aniston involving Reese Witherspoon, Beyoncé and Jay-Z!

The stars of The Morning Showwere seated at a table together when Beyoncé and husband Jay-Z surprised everyone by skipping the red carpet and showing up during the awards ceremony just as Kate McKinnon was introducing Ellen DeGeneres, the winner of this year's Carol Burnett Award. And they shocked even further by bringing their own champagne!

This came in handy, according to Jennifer's Instagram Stories, because when their table ran out of water, Reese allegedly asked Jay and Bey for a sip of the champagne they brought!

Jennifer shared a photo of herself holding a champagne flute next to a smiling Reese and producer Kristin Hahn.

"Reese!? This is one of the many reasons I love you," the former Friends actress wrote on Instagram Stories. "We ran out of water at our table so naturally she asked Jay-Z and Beyoncé for a glass of their champagne."

Reese shared the same photo on her social media.

"When Jay-Z gave us his #AceofSpade champagne, we were like," she explained on Instagram by finishing the thought with a heart-eyed cat emoji.

Jennifer shared another photo of herself sipping champagne while appearing to watch the awards ceremony.

People reports Jay-Z and Beyoncé's bodyguard appeared to be holding two bottles of Armand de Brignac Champagne at the Golden Globes when they arrived. Jay-Z purchased the brand in 2014 and had previously name-checked it in his 2006 song "Show Me What You Got."

Jennifer has gained millions of followers since she joined Instagram in October. She has delighted fans with her humour and insider snaps. She also made headlines for laughing at Brad Pitt's joke about his dating life during his acceptance speech when he won the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor – Motion Picture for Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood.
