Double double! Scarlett Johansson and Margot Robbie both receive two BAFTA nominations

By Zach Harper

Scarlett Johansson and Margot Robbie both woke up with two more nominations on Jan. 7, as they both received two nods in this year's BAFTA Film Awards.

Scarlett is up for Best Leading Actress for her role in Marriage Story and Best Supporting Actress for Jojo Rabbit, while Margot's performances in Bombshell and Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood saw her nominated twice in the latter category.

There's also a good chance we'll see much more of Joaquin Phoenix, Leonardo DiCaprio, Adam Driver, Charlize Theron and Renee Zellweger at the ceremony next month! They all received nominations.

Joker, The Irishman and Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood lead the pack of nods this year. Joker picked up a whopping 11 nominations, while the latter two films both received 10.

The 2020 BAFTA Film Awards will be handed out at a ceremony on Feb. 2. We will likely also see Prince William and Duchess Kate at the event, since the Duke of Cambridge is the BAFTAs' president. The couple stunned at last year's ceremony, with Kate turning heads in a gorgeous white dress by Alexander McQueen, which she paired with dangling diamond and pearl earrings that used to belong to Princess Diana and a diamond bracelet.

You can see BAFTA Film Awards nominations that are relevant for HELLO! Canada readers below. The full list of nods is available on the BAFTAs' website.
