Brad Pitt wore a name tag to the Oscars luncheon (yes, really)

Brad Pitt is known for his good natured self-deprecating sense of humour, and it was on full display at the Oscars luncheon on Jan. 27 when he arrived wearing a name tag.

The star, who is nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood, had his name pinned right over his breast pocket. Not only did the tag clearly show his name, but it also reportedly included details about that aforementioned nomination.

Brad has been poking fun at himself quite a lot lately. In his acceptance speech for his SAG Award on Jan. 19, the superstar made fun of his dating life – with ex-wife Jennifer Aniston in the room!

"Let's be honest, it was a difficult part," he joked. "A guy who gets high, takes his shirt off and doesn't get on with his wife. It was a big stretch."

He also joked that he should put something about his awards wins in his Tinder profile. Perhaps he should also include a photo of himself with this name tag.

Of course, the camera immediately shifted to Jennifer, who smirked. The two later reunited backstage after she won a SAG Award of her own.

Brad engaged in similar self-deprecation at the Golden Globes.

"I want to say hi to my folks because, hey, they're back in the Ozarks," he said. "I wanted to bring my mom, but I couldn't because any woman I stand next to, they say I'm dating. It would just be awkward, alright? Thank you."

Never change, Brad. Ever.
