March is International Women's Month and Céline Dion is using the opportunity to highlight some of her incredible fellow female artists on Instagram, including Barbra Streisand and Sia.
The Canadian icon kicked off the annual celebration and time for raising awareness by profiling Sia on March 4. Céline's Instagram explained in English and French that she is spending the month reflecting on some of the women she has worked with over the years.
The "My Heart Will Go On" singer's team revealed "the incredibly talented" Sia was chosen as the first pick. She co-wrote "Lying Down" from Céline's latest album, Courage.
The French-Canadian singer herself penned a sweet note, writing: "Sia my love! Thank you for your endless energy and amazing spirit! So lucky that you've shared your amazing talent with me."
She also posted a photo of her and Sia having a laugh while seated on a sofa.
Next, Céline and her team highlighted the legendary Barbra Streisand. The two musical powerhouses recorded the amazing duet "Tell Him" back in 1997.
"My dear Barbra, I've admired you all my life," penned Céline. "You've been such an inspiration and it remains one of the greatest privileges of my career to have worked with you. With all my love... Celine xx..."
The "All by Myself" singer also shared a heart-warming throwback photo with Barbra.
Living legend Barbra responded to Céline's sweet message in the Instagram comments, sharing a reciprocal loving message!
"Thank you sweet Celine. I feel the same way about you!" wrote the American singer-actress. "May you be well and happy. Love, Barbra"
Fans love seeing the women supporting each other and lifting one another up. And they are sharing their messages of praise in the comments. Followers are also hoping for more musical collaborations between the two in the future. We are, too!
