Celebrity couples who are self-isolating together, from Justin and Hailey Bieber to J.Lo and A-Rod

By Heather Cichowski

As the coronavirus pandemic continues to affect the world, people are practising social distancing and self-quarantining to stop the spread of COVID-19 and flatten the curve – and the stars are doing it, too! Many celebrity couples are self-isolating together and they are documenting their days on social media.

Like with musicians' livestreamed sessions, the A-list couples' Instagram photos offer a reprieve from the news and help people connect. In some cases, the images might inspire others who are at home on ways to bond with their loved ones and pass the time.

Justin Bieber and his wife Hailey Bieber are reportedly self-isolating in his native Canada. The GRAMMY-winning singer uploaded this romantic photo and called his model love his "quarantine partner." Prior to that, the pair showed off their impressive dance moves in a video.

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are focusing on family time during the COVID-19 pandemic. J.Lo posted a video of her 12-year-old son Max serving the former baseball player water while simultaneously showcasing his hover-board skills. It was a super relatable, fun moment that fans no doubt loved seeing.

Emily Ratajkowski and Sebastian Bear-McClard

Emily Ratajkowski and her husband, Sebastian Bear-McClard, kicked off their first day working at home in matching cozy outfits. They also made their way through two frozen pizzas and the Love is Blind TV series. (Admit it: You've done that already, too.)

The model-fashion designer asked followers for suggestions about how to celebrate their adorable dog Colombo's first birthday.

Lady Gaga and Michael Polansky

Lady Gaga and her new beau Michael Polansky are documenting their self-quarantine on Instagram. The singer shared this loved-up photo on day six of their isolation.

"Going strong, playing video games and cards, and taking care of ourselves," the "Stupid Love" singer wrote.

She also gave fans an important reminder about looking after ourselves.

"Keep your mind as stress free as possible and your body moving. #selflove #selfcare #bekind try not to pass it in case you have it #corona it’s ok and so wonderful to stay home if you can! What a kind act for the world."

Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson

Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson were both diagnosed with the coronavirus earlier in March while in Australia. They were released from the hospital earlier this week and have continued to keep fans informed on social media about how they're doing.

On March 18, the actor made a joke involving a "corona" typewriter.

"Hey folks. Good News: One week after testing Positive, in self-isolation, the symptoms are much the same. No fever but the blahs."

The A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood star discussed how he and his wife were passing their time.

"Folding the laundry and doing the dishes leads to a nap on the couch. Bad news: My wife @ritawilson has won 6 straight hands of Gin Rummy and leads by 201 points. But I have learned not to spread my Vegemite so thick. I travelled here with a typewriter, one I used to love. We are all in this together. Flatten the curve. Hanx"
