The Watch What Happens Live star told Entertainment Tonight he's been helping the CNN anchor by passing on clothes his son Ben, who was born in 2019, has outgrown.
"[Wyatt] is wearing all of Ben's hand-me-dows, and he's got a great wardrobe ready for him," the 51-year-old sweetly said. "It is so funny because I just sent Anderson a picture of Ben in his pyjamas this morning, and I said, 'Do you see these?' He goes, 'I love them, I can't wait!'
"So, we have a little funnel of clothes from my house to his... and my nanny now works for Anderson. We FaceTimed today for about half an hour. We either FaceTime or talk on the phone, and we text all the time."
We love to hear about new dads supporting each other! The two have been friends for years, having met on a failed blind date. Their set-up might not have worked, but they've remained very close since. Just after Wyatt was born, Andy opened up about how excited he was for Anderson, sending him a congratulatory message on Instagram that included a photo of the 52-year-old kissing Wyatt.
Anderson has since gone on to say he's "blissfully happy" and loving being a father. He told Ellen DeGeneres he really loves watching his son sleep.
"He goes through a whole range of emotions on his face while he's sleeping. It's really... I mean, it's better than Netflix," he said earlier this month.
"I expected him to just love it, and be tickled and be sweet. It's exactly what I thought would happen," Andy told ET about how his pal is doing.
As for whether he'd like to have another child in the future, he said yes. In the meantime, Wyatt and Ben can look forward to being playmates – hopefully the coronavirus pandemic will end soon, so Andy can meet Wyatt and that can happen!
