May 25 was a very special day for Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas. It marked the couple's two-year anniversary of their first date. To commemorate the occasion, the lovebirds shared romantic messages on social media along with throwback photos.

"2 years ago today we took our very first picture together," the actress wrote on Instagram. "Every day since then you have brought me endless joy and happiness."

"I love you @nickjonas Thank you for making our life together so incredible," she ended the post. "Here’s to many more date nights..."

The Jonas Brother adorably responded in the comments.

"Best two years of my life," he replied. "I love you."

Priyanka included a photo of herself and Nick at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, wearing matching baseball caps. It is thought to be taken from that first date!

Nick also marked the special anniversary on Instagram with a doting message. The singer uploaded a photo of himself and his wife in coordinating cowboy hats.

"This beautiful woman and I went on our first date two years ago today," he explained in the caption. "It has been the best two years of my life, and to think I am lucky enough to get to spend the rest of my life with her is such an incredible blessing. I love you babe. Happy two years." Awwww!

Priyanka and Nick began messaging each other in late 2016, according to their Vogue interview. In May 2017, they were coincidentally both invited by Ralph Lauren to attend the Met Gala. They eventually got together, with the news going public in May 2018 after photos of them at the previously mentioned Dodgers Game and another date at a concert surfaced on the Memorial Day weekend.

The couple got engaged that July. Nick later revealed he proposed on Crete on Priyanka's 36th birthday on July 18. They married on Dec. 1, 2018 in Priyanka's home country of India in a lavish, multi-day ceremony that celebrated their faiths and cultures.
