A body has been found in the search for missing former Glee star Naya Rivera.

The 33-year-old actress went missing on California's Lake Piru on July 8 while going boating with her four-year-old son, Josey. The body has not yet been identified, but was found in the northeast of the lake early on the morning of July 13. Police will hold a press conference at 2 p.m. PT.

"That particular area, when it was searched by divers, they were literally crawling on hands and knees at the bottom of the lake attached by ropes so they could make their way back out because visibility is so poor," Capt. Eric Buschow of the Ventura County Sheriff's Department said, according to the Los Angeles Times. "That gives you kind of an idea of what the conditions were like."

Josey was found alone in the same spot where the two went swimming a day earlier. Investigators said Josey told vendors who rented the boat to Naya that he and his mom had gone swimming and she hadn't gotten back into the boat when he did.

On July 9, authorities said Naya was presumed dead and was thought to have drowned in the incident.

"We're going on the belief that she did go in the water and we have not been able to locate her," Capt. Bushow said on July 9, according to USA Today. "So this may well be a case of drowning."

Divers continued to search for Naya all weekend. Her former Glee co-star Heather Morris joined in the search-and-recovery effort, along with Naya's ex-husband, Ryan Dorsey, who is Josey's father. Naya's father was also involved.
