They said yes! Celebrities and royals who got engaged in 2021

It was a very special 40th birthday for the heiress on Feb. 17 because she revealed she got engaged to boyfriend Carter Reum.
The former reality TV star and her venture capitalist beau, 40, got engaged on Feb. 13, just before Valentine's Day, on a private island.
"When you find your soulmate, you don’t just know it. You feel it," wrote Paris in an Instagram post featuring photos of the proposal.
"My love & I have been together since our first date, and for my birthday, he arranged a special trip to tropical paradise.
"As we walked to dinner along the beach, Carter led us to a cabana adorned with flowers and dropped to one knee.
"I said yes, yes to forever. There’s no one I’d rather spend forever with."
The private equity investor and Paris have been friends for about 15 years. Carter is also a longtime friend of the Hilton family. The pair began dating over a year ago and have talked about how COVID-19 has accelerated the process.
The former The Simple Life star was previously engaged to actor Chris Zylka. They broke up in November 2018. Paris was also previously engaged to Greek shipping heir Paris Kassidokostas-Latsis in 2005 and model Jason Shaw from 2002 to 2003.
She has had high-profile relationships with Greek heir Stavros Niarchos, Nick Carter and Benji Madden from Good Charlotte.

Aaron Rodgers and Shailene Woodley
The Big Little Lies actress and Green Bay Packers quarterback surprised fans with the news they were a couple – and reportedly engaged.
Aaron revealed he was engaged ahead of the 2021 Super Bowl and made a reference to his fiancée in a virtual appearance during the NFL Honors broadcast on Feb. 6 when he accepted the NFL MVP award.
"It's an honour to win this award for the third time. 2020 was definitely a crazy year filled with lots of change and growth, some amazing memorable moments..."
The 37-year-old added, "I got engaged."
He did not name Shailene directly but reports just days ahead of the announcement stated the actress, 29, was an item with the football player.
The couple have kept their relationship out of the spotlight. Shailene was lasted linked to rugby player Ben Volavola while Aaron split from former race car driver Danica Patrick in July 2020 after two years together.

The singer and British GQ Creative Director are engaged!
There's been speculation the lovebirds were engaged for some time, but it was Paul's stepmother, Gloria, who confirmed the news.
She told the Mail Online she was "thrilled" the pair plan to marry.
"She's very nice," said the proud parent. "It's very exciting."
The news comes after actress Billie Piper referred to Paul as Kylie's "fiancé" in a recent magazine interview.
The Australian singer and her beau have been together since 2018, and reportedly have plans to marry in Melbourne, but COVID-19 has affected that.
The "Can't Get You Out of My Head" singer was previously with Neighbours co-star Jason Donovan from 1986 to 1989. They split and she went on to have a relationship with the late musician Michael Hutchence then with Lenny Kravitz.
The pop star has also been linked with French director Stephane Sednaoui, model James Gooding, French actor Olivier Martinez and model Andrés Velencos.
The 52-year-old was previously engaged to British actor Joshua Sasse. The pair dated from 2014 to 2017 before breaking it off.

The Canadian model had a very special 33rd birthday on Jan. 30 because she was proposed to by the NBA player.
The pair revealed their engagement on social media on Feb. 1.
"Well, this was the best birthday surprise I could have ever imagined," the Vancouver-born model wrote in a heartwarming Instagram post.
She couldn't resist a joke about her fiancé's last name saying, "I couldn't be happier to have been asked to be a Love by my love. Heart bursting all day & night."
The professional basketball player, 32, shared the same photo of them kissing and wrote, "Souls tend to go back to who feels like home."
He added, "My Fiancé. The Joy of My Life."
Kate and Kevin first met in 2016, and have occasionally had a long distance relationship with Kevin spending time in Cleveland where he plays for the Cavaliers, while Kate is typically based in New York.

The Suicide Squad actor and his Victoria's Secret model girlfriend are engaged!
Joel, 41, popped the question during a romantic outdoor activity. The pair shared photos from the beautiful moment on their Instagrams on Jan. 18.
"Yours forever," wrote the Swedish-Australian model, showing off her ring in a photo of her kissing her new fiancé. She also shared a snap from the moment The Killing actor got down on one knee.
He posted the same image and joked, "She said no. Jus kiddin..."
The pair made their red carpet debut in 2019. In 2020, they rescued a dog together.

Prince Louis of Luxembourg and Scarlett-Lauren Sirgue
The Luxembourg royal is engaged to Scarlett-Lauren Sirgue!
The happy news was shared by the Grand Ducal Court of Luxembourg on April 6. The message was also posted on social media.
"We are very happy to announce the engagement of our son Prince Louis to Miss Scarlett-Lauren Sirgue," said the statement from Henri, Grand Duke of Luxembourg and his wife, Maria Teresa, Grand Duchess of Luxembourg.
The statement continued that Louis's sons, Prince Gabriel, 14, and Prince Noah, 12, from his marriage to Tessy Antony de Nassau took part in the engagement celebrations.
"Princes Gabriel and Noah join us in surrounding the new couple with all our affection," it went on. "We wish them immense happiness."
Three portraits were shared to mark the engagement, including one of the loved-up couple with Scarlett-Lauren showing off her ring. The other two were more formal portraits. One of them included Louis's parents, the duke and duchess.
Prince Louis, 34, was married to Tessy from 2006 to 2019.
The Luxembourg prince and Scarlett-Lauren, 29, made their public debut in 2020. She is a Parisian lawyer.
No wedding date has been announced.
