Jennifer Garner hadn't made before, until she tried it for the first time on the latest episode of her Pretend Cooking Show.
The actress shared the recipe and a funny video of her whipping up the spread across her social media platforms.
"Maple Butter—the most obvious staple I’d never made," Jennifer wrote.
Her recipe and method were: "8 tablespoons butter 1 cup Grade B maple syrup Heat and whisk together. That’s it! Yum."
The minute video highlights how simple it is to make. As Jennifer hilariously proved, it doesn't matter whether you heat the maple syrup first or the butter. Everything will mix together beautifully to create a lip-smacking end result.
It's also alright if you don't have quite enough maple syrup, like Jennifer realized. She had less than three-quarters of a cup, but it still turned out fine! It's also not necessary to have Grade B maple syrup.
As Jen said, maple butter is "something that will make your life better."
Some of the former Alias star's famous Instagram followers were fans of the maple butter, too.

Jennifer has made many scrumptious recipes in her Pretend Cooking Show series, including her grandma's cornbread, bolognese and biscotti. Her last video featured her making biscones, and she had a special video where she made breakfast cookies in Vancouver while she was filming The Adam Project with Ryan Reynolds.
