Heather Mills seems to give snappers a peek at her plans

With public interest in her divorce from Sir Paul McCartney still intense, Heather Mills appears to have unwittingly revealed part of her strategy for the proceedings. The anti-landmines campaigner was snapped holding a large notebook with legal notes clearly written on its pages as she left a restaurant in London on Wednesday evening.

And it seems the 38-year-old may seek to ban her estranged husband from one of the former couple's homes. One line of the notes scribbled on her pad reads "I'm seeking an order of occupation of the matrimonial home," suggesting she wishes to become the main resident of the property.

It is thought the statement refers to the £8-million townhouse in St John's Wood which she used to share with the musician. But it could also be Peasmarsh, the £4-million Sussex estate he received as a gift from his late wife Linda, or the house in Hove where Heather currently resides.

Legal experts have pointed out that such a petition is usually only made in divorces where domestic abuse is a factor. Papers leaked last month revealed the former model would accuse Sir Paul of a series of incidents, some of which took place while she was pregnant with their daughter Beatrice.
