Former Pussycat dolls star Nicole Scherzinger's new job is not only a great career move – it will be great for her romance too. The glam brunette has joined the judging panel on the new series of The X Factor.
So she'll be spending lots of time in the UK, just a short flight from her Formula 1 beau Lewis Hamilton's Geneva base.When the couple split briefly in November last year, the strain of hardly seeing each other was said to have taken its toll on their relationship.
Nicole spent a lot of 2011 the US, where she had stepped in to replace Cheryl Cole on the American version of The X Factor. And with Lewis jetting around the world on the Grand Prix circuit, the couple spent little time together.
But it will be a different story this year when Nicole joins Gary Barlow, Louis Walsh and Tulisa Contostavlos on the talent show in a reported £750,000 deal.
Bosses had been trying out a series of guest judges to replace Kelly Rowland, including former Spice Girls Geri Halliwell and Mel B. Chart-toppers Rita Ora and Anastacia have also taken turns on the panel judging the hundreds of contestants attempting to find fame and fortune on the ITV1 programme. Nicole, who was born in Hawaii, recently appeared in Men In Black 3.
