Strictly star Darcey Bussell is transformed from a Dancing Queen into a snow queen as she speaks about her "fabulous" time on the hit BBC1 show. Looking more like a supermodel than a 43 year old mum of two she said she had no regrets about uproooting her entire family from Australia so she could join the judging panel.
In the exclusive 'winter wonderland' shoot with HELLO! Magazine she says : "I didn't want to say yes and then go 'hang on a minute' ... I wanted to make sure I hadn't forgotten about every single detail that goes into being in live television. It's very daunting. I've been on stage and done lots of live shows, but I've never had to open my mouth." And the biggest challenge? "There is so much I can say from my own experience. But it's being able to get it out quick and sharp. I would do it in a much friendlier, hands-on sort of way, so it's very odd sitting behind a desk."
Darcey reveals she has not yet signed a contract for a second year but would love to do so and talking of her Christmas plans she said: "Hopefully it'll snow and the kids won't miss the barbecue on the beach.I never imagined I'd be a presenter on television, but I'm happy to put myself out of my comfort zone.
