Reports that Ciara had gone into labour on 14 April were wide of the mark. The singer is clearly still waiting on her bundle of joy in a snap she posted on her Instagram to celebrate Easter.
Ciara showed off her sizeable baby bump in a tie-dyed t shirt as she posed with the Easter Bunny on Sunday morning. She captioned the cute snap: "CC N Da Bunny!:)" and included the hashtag: "Happy Easter".
Reports abounded Ciara had gone into labour on 14 April, but they were clearly wide of the mark.
She had darkened her hair colour from the blonde shade the 28-year-old was showing off at her last public event – the launch of a children's initiative in LA where she met up with fellow expectant mother Drew Barrymore.
Ciara has never revealed when she's expecting her baby with her rapper fiancé Future, but judging by the petite songstress' bump, she doesn't have long left to go.
Celebrity friends, including Kim Kardashian – have already thrown the pretty singer a baby shower. The party took place in LA last month and included a multi-tier blue themed cake for the new arrival, who is going to be a little boy.
The petite singer is expecting a little boy with her rapper fiancé Future.
At first, Ciara did want the gender of her baby to stay a secret, saying: "I want to keep that special".
Her other half, rapper The Future accidentally gave the game away though, when he referred to the baby as "him" in an interview.
He said: "The baby is already listening to music now. She sent me a video while I was over here with the headphones on her stomach. She said 'The baby just listened to Turn On The Lights, the version with me and you!' I said 'He gott- You gotta play that Anytime for him, the new one you did. Let him hear that. See how he kick'."
The star has not revealed her exact due date but has revealed she's "not too far from the delivery room".
If Ciara gets her way, the little boy will eventually have some brothers or sisters to play with as she definitely wants more than one child.
'I'm an only child, so I want to build a big family,' she back in November. 'Not too big, but big enough."
