Nicola Roberts has spoken out in support of Cheryl Cole's decision to marry Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini after a whirlwind three-month romance.
Cheryl, 31, shocked fans on Sunday night when she revealed she had secretly tied the knot, and now her former Girls Aloud bandmate has backed her decision.

Posting on Instagram, Nicola wrote: "You can be in a relationship for two years and feel nothing; you can be in a relationship for two months and feel everything.
"Time is not a measure of quality; of infatuation or of love."
Cheryl and Jean-Bernard, 33, kept their wedding plans a closely guarded secret, inviting just four guests to see them exchange vows on the island of Mustique.

Cheryl’s mum Joan and her PA Lily England were reportedly at the wedding, which was confirmed by Cheryl on Instagram.
"I usually do not discuss my personal life but to stop the speculation I want to share my happy news… Jean-Bernard and I married on 7/7/14," the X Factor star announced.
"We are very happy and excited to move forward with our lives together."
Following the wedding, Cheryl has since removed 'Cole' from her Twitter handle, leading to speculation she might take on her new husband's name.

Meanwhile, the singer's dad Garry Tweedy has spoken about her surprise marriage.
The 56-year-old, who split from Cheryl's mum when the star was 11, confirmed to the Mirror that only a handful of family and friends knew she was going to tie the knot.
"She left it for a while before making it public because she just wanted it to be kept completely private.
"I knew about it, but Cheryl did that quite deliberately. And it worked."
