Spanish actress Elsa Pataky has been documenting her new life in Australia after moving there with her husband Chris Hemsworth. The family relocated to Chris' native country from Los Angeles in 2014, and Elsa has revealed that her life has completely changed since living down under.

In a blog post for Spain's Glamour magazine Elsa said their new home of Byron Bay is "special" and revealed that even her style has been influenced by their new surroundings.

"It's a town that has a special energy – it's full of artists and very creative people, and very hippie!

"As there is a tropical climate and hippie lifestyle, you often see people walking barefoot on the street," she wrote, adding: "I was quite surprised at first, but now even I walk barefoot sometimes."

Elsa and Thor star Chris moved to Australia last year with their three children – two-year-old India Rose and 11-month-old twins Sacha and Tristan. The 38-year-old has clearly taken to life in Oz and has shared a number of photos of the family in their new surroundings.

In one photo Elsa leans against a wall and smiles while cradling one of her baby sons. The barefoot star showed off her laidback summer style in a loose embellished blouse, denim shorts and a fedora hat.

The mother-of-three had previously shared an adorable picture of her baby sons holding hands in their pushchairs, along with the caption: "Always together!! #twins #happy #forever".

Elsa appears to be embracing Australian culture and also took her daughter India Rose to feed Kangaroos in January. "Friday fun day!!" she wrote, alongside a picture of herself and the toddler with two kangaroos.

It was previously revealed that Chris and Elsa decided to move back to Australia as he no longer needed to be based in Los Angeles to get film roles.

Asked about the decision to leave California, Chris said: "We were in LA for six or seven years and then once we got the opportunity not to be there full-time, it was good to get back to Australia.

"And it's great. Quiet, coastal town - [it] couldn't be further from Hollywood, which is nice. A nice break."
