Charlie Sheen receives message of support from good friend Heather Locklear

Charlie Sheen has received a message of support from his longtime friend Heather Locklear, after reports that the actor is HIV positive. "My heart hurts. Prayers for Charlie and his family," the American actress wrote on her Instagram account alongside a photograph of the duo pictured together in 2000.Charlie, 50, is to appear on the Today show on Tuesday when he will take part in an exclusive live interview with Matt Lauer. A press release issued on Monday revealed the actor "will make a revealing personal announcement."

The hell-raising actor has been open about his relationships with women and has discussed his struggles with drug and alcohol addictions in the past.His volatile personal life came to a head with a public feud with Two and a Half Men creator Chuck Lorre, leading to his departure from the CBS sitcom in 2011.
