Chrissy Teigen celebrated her upcoming arrival with a brilliant baby shower in style this week, complete with McDonalds meals and husband John Legend-themed cupcakes. With the three eldest Kardashian sisters in attendance, the model and her famous friends took to Instagram and Snapchat to document the fabulous party.

Chrissy is known not just for her modelling career but for her amazing cooking skills. So as a best-selling cookbook author, it was a surprise for her guests when she revealed what she was serving at her lavish baby shower: McDonald's McMuffins complete with hash browns.

The mum-to-be, who is expecting her first child in April, looked stunning at the shower in a long white dress with detached ruffled sleeves as she posed for photos with her best friends.

Chrissy hilariously enjoyed a McDonalds brunch to celebrate her baby shower

Chrissy's guests, including Khloe, Kourtney and Kim Kardashian, were clearly enjoying the laid back, fast-food-themed party with posting bizarre yet hilarious Instagram videos where they compare Kourtney to John Lennon, put on fake British accents and pose playfully with Chrissy. Khloe shared a particularly saucy snap of herself with the mum-to-be on Instagram with the caption: "2 girls 1 baby."

Jenna Dewan Tatum and celebrity hair stylist Jen Atkin were in attendance, with Jenna sharing photobooth pictures from the party, writing: "We [love] you Chrissy T!"

But it was talk show host Leah Ashley who shared photos of Chrissy's dinner on a beautiful long table complete with white rose centrepieces. She then posted a photo of their fast food brunch, writing: "Of course @chrissyteigen has @mcdonalds for her baby shower brunch!!"

The party was actually Chrissy and John's second baby shower, as the pair had already enjoyed celebrating the expected arrival of their daughter in New York in early March complete with matching "Baby Daddy" and "Baby Mama" crowns.
