Rachel Roy has responded to the firestorm surrounding speculation that she is the mysterious 'Becky' in Beyoncé's new album Lemonade. "I respect love, marriages, families and strength," the 42-year-old designer tweeted. "What shouldn't be tolerated by anyone, no matter what, is bullying, of any kind."
Her message refers to the ongoing furore about the identity of the 'other woman' referred to in Beyoncé's highly anticipated new album, which was released along with an accompanying HBO special on Saturday night.

Rachel Roy was identified as 'Becky' by Beyoncé's fans
To many observers, the album seems to be a working through of the rumoured infidelity of Beyoncé's husband Jay Z – and in one track, Sorry, Beyoncé sings: "He only wants me when I'm not there / He better call Becky with the good hair."
Just a few hours later, Rachel posted a photo on her now-private Instagram account with the caption: "Good hair, don't care, but we will take good lighting, for selfies, or self truths, always. Live in the light, #nodramaqueens."
That was enough to make Beyoncé's loyal fans suspect she was the Becky in the song – particularly because she was also rumoured to be at the centre of the dramatic lift altercation between Beyoncé's sister Solange Knowles and Jay Z following the Met Gala in 2014.
Power couple Beyoncé and Jay Z have been married since 2008
They inundated her post with a series of comments, including: "I think we found Becky!", and: "You messed with the wrong artist…"
Rachel – the ex-wife of music producer Damon Dash, Jay Z's business partner until the pair fell out - was said to be at the cause of Solange's scuffle with her brother-in-law, with reports claiming that the pair fell out over the rapper's close friendship with Rachel.
"Solange was defending Beyoncé in the elevator because Solange finds Jay's friendship with Rachel to be WAY too close for comfort and it makes Solange very uncomfortable," a source told Hollywood Life at the time.
The couple are parents to four-year-old Blue Ivy
Beyoncé herself is yet to address the speculation surrounding Rachel, or the status of her marriage, The hour-long HBO special did conclude, however, with happy images of Beyoncé and Jay Z with their daughter Blue Ivy, suggesting perhaps that the couple have overcome their marital troubles.
