Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have reached an agreement to handle their divorce privately, and will work together to reunify their family, the pair have announced in a joint statement. The former couple, who split in September last year, added that they will be keeping all future details of their divorce confidential by using a private judge.

The statement, released to HELLO! Brad, 53, and Angelina, 41, were married for two years and together for 12 after becoming close during the filming of Mr and Mrs Smith in 2005. Angelina filed to end their marriage in September.
