Before Jennifer Lopez was living the fabulous life, she was on a strict budget. “I remember only getting to have one piece of pizza every day when I was a dancer,” the World of Dance judge said about the early days of her career during the NBC press day in Los Angeles on March 20. “That’s how I lived. I did that for a couple of years before I got my first big job.”

Jennifer, 47, got her start as a fly girl on the classic comedy sketch show In Living Colour, before going on to dance background for Janet Jackson. Still, the Bronx native, who now herself is a triple threat, shared that her humble beginnings taught her to never take success for granted. “I wouldn’t trade it for the world,” she said. “For me, coming from that struggle, this is a dream come true for me. I don’t say that lightly.”

Jennifer returned to Los Angeles to reunite with the other judges Jenna Dewan Tatum, Ne-Yo and Derek Hough after spending a few days in Miami with her new man Alex Rodrigeuz. The All I Have performer reconnected with the former New York Yankees player in L.A., and they quickly became interested in each other. After news of the romance became public, the mom-of-two jetted to Miami and then the Bahamas for a romantic weekend together. While down in the Sunshine State, J.Lo even hung with his sister Susy Dunand. In a photo shared on Susy's Instagram with the caption “simply sweet,” the two ladies snuggled close for the camera.
