"Well OKAY! #tbt to the second time I hosted @nbcsnl," the Halloween star shared, ticking off the stereotypical 80s parts of the image including the leg warmers, a cigarette, and her ''swagger".

Jamie will next be seen on screen in Halloween Kills, the 12th film in the franchise and the second since it was rebooted in 2018. It stars Jamie Lee Curtis and Nick Castle, who reprise their roles as Laurie Strode and Michael Myers, with Judy Greer, Andi Matichak, and Will Patton also reprising their roles from the previous film.

Jamie made her acting debut in the first film in 1978 and has gone on to star in several high profile films and has won a BAFTA and two Golden Globes.

She marked her 22-year sober anniversary this year with a proud and poignant message in a bid to help others struggling with addiction.

Chatting to HELLO! at JLGB's Virtual online event in February, the award-winning star touched upon her family's struggles with substance abuse as well as her own, and how she overcame it.

Jamie has creditedthe support of her husband Christopher Guest for helping her stay sober

"My recovery is the single greatest accomplishment that I will ever get to do in this human life," she said.

"I have a generational link to addiction and substance abuse in my family and I was able to catch it, look in the mirror, understand the problem and I have been clean and sober for 22 years."

Addiction ran in her family and her brother Nicholas sadly died from a heroin overdose at age 21 in 1994. Her father Tony Curtis was also into drugs and Jamie even admitted doing cocaine with him.
