While on patrol in Afghanistan with the Royal Canadian Air Force in 2010, Chris was seriously injured by a homemade bomb. As a result, he suffered two aneurysms, serious burns, a shattered jaw and hand, and the complete loss of his right eye. Photo credit: Walkingwiththewounded.org
