Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner to launch 'Kardashian Kids' children's clothing line

They already have a hit show, several fashion stores and multiple fragrances to their name. Now, the Kardashians are embarking on yet another business venture: a children’s clothing line.

After months of planning, Kim Kardashian and her mother Kris Jenner are finally set to launch Kardashian Kids, a clothing line designed specifically for youngsters.

"Couldn't be more excited for @kkidsofficial," tweeted Kris. "Coming soon!!"

Kris added a link to the brand's newly created Instagram account, giving fans an insight into the final preparations before the launch.

"Coming soon... #kardashiankids," was the caption on a photo of a young girl sitting on a customised director's chair.

"Shoot day! More to come..." accompanied another photo, which showed leopard print clothing, photos being edited and a large floral 'K'.

A sweet picture of a blonde little girl being attended to by a make-up artist was captioned "One of our adorable models, Zolie, getting her curls primped for the shoot!"

The famous family have long been thinking about expanding the fashion line.

In August, shortly after Kim welcomed baby North, the reality TV star's friend and designer Lloyd Klein revealed that she was planning on breaking into the children's fashion market.

"I am sure she is going to come up with a line for babies," he told the New York Daily News, adding that he expected Kim's little girl to be a "great poster child" for the brand.

Speaking about the power of the Kardashian brand, Lloyd added, "They are doing clever moves. They are fantastic and beautiful – so it works.
