Kate Middleton is regal in a $4,220 blue Alexander McQueen coat for wreath-laying ceremony
Kate Middleton dazzled the crowds as she stepped out in Bleinheim, New Zealand this week wearing a regal Alexander McQueen coat dress.
The Duchess of Cambridge chose a slightly altered, cornflower-blue version of the designer’s creation, which is still available off the Alexander McQueen website and retails for $3,875 US (approximately $4,220 CA).
Kate's version looks to have been altered slightly from the original version, with the upper part of the peplum detailing having been removed.
The stylish royal paired the simple yet stunning creation with dark navy blue heels and accessorised with her sapphire drop earrings and a small red poppy brooch.
Kate had swapped her signature cascading curls look for an elegant ponytail. She kept her make-up in line with the blue theme with a sweep of navy eyeshadow, keeping her lips natural.
The event was to remember those who had died in all wars, and to particularly commemorate the 100 year anniversary of the First World War, which falls in July of this year.
