The former England captain is reportedly planning to launch his own menswear label, thereby pitting his line against his designer-wife Victoria Beckham's upcoming foray into men’s fashion.

Just last month, the former Spice Girl announced that she would be adding footwear and menswear to her growing fashion empire. Now, sources are revealing that her 38-year-old husband is about to close a multimillion-dollar deal with Hong Kong clothing distributor Li & Fung.
If it all pans out, the couple will be targeting the same market. But who is to say you can’t shop both Beckham brands at once?
While wife Victoria is already a well-established designer, David has generally taken on the role of muse. He is currently the face of H&M, but has also previously signed clothing deals with Adidas and Belstaff.
And the retired soccer star's male modelling career has proven wildly successful, with his H&M Bodywear line selling out across stores last year. With the help of his sartorially savvy wife, the new Beckham range of casual menswear may just be a smash hit.
