Coco Rocha stopped traffic in red at the American Ballet Theatre Gala in New York City on Monday night.
The 25-year-old Canadian supermodel paired her slick, brunette bob hairstyle with a joltingly crimson Lanvin peplum dress for the star-studded event. She accessorized with a $48 Cosmic Galactic Bib Necklace from her own Bauble Bar jewelry collection.
Lanvin, a co-sponsor of the affair, was also worn by the likes of model and recent Harvard entrant Karlie Kloss and 21-year-old singer Selena Gomez, both of whom opted for formal black-and-white ensembles.
The evening’s honoured guest was 82-year-old (and still working!) supermodel Carmen Dell'Orefice, who looked chic and sophisticated with her powder grey hair pulled back into a sleek and tight ponytail.
I had the extreme honor of meeting my icon, the original supermodel, Carmen Dell'Orefice tonight. What a lady! pic.twitter.com/2nVInrRVck

“I had the extreme honor of meeting my icon, the original supermodel, Carmen Dell'Orefice tonight. What a lady,” Coco tweeted last night with a photo of the two sitting down for the event.
Other fashionable guests included actresses Zoe Kravitz, Emmy Rossum and Sigourney Weaver.
The ballet aficionados were treated to vignette performances of Don Quixote, Coppelia, Cinderella and Manon, and two ballets that were specifically created for the annual gala, which raised $1.7 million.
