Forbes has released its annual list of the world’s highest-paid models, with Gisele Bündchen once again nabbing the top spot.
The Brazilian beauty is the world’s top earning model for the the eighth year in a row, having pocketed over $47 million in the last 12 months.
Gisele’s earnings are down to her many different projects in the fashion industry.
Along with lucrative modelling contracts with H&M, Chanel and Carolina Herrera, the mother-of-two gets a cut of sales from jelly sandals she designs for footwear brand Grendene.
Her line of Hope Lingerie, entitled Gisele Bundchen Intimates, also increases her earnings significantly, and she is also the face of Pantene hair products and Oral-B in Brazil.
After Doutzen and Adriana, who are both Victoria’s Secret models, joint third place goes to Kate Moss, Kate Upton, Miranda Kerr and Liu Wen, who all earned $7million over the last 12 months.
British Kate is likely to get the majority of her earnings from a longstanding Rimmel cosmetics deal, along with campaigns for St Tropez self-tan and Kerastase haircare products.
Kate Upton is the highest-ranked newcomer, thanks to contracts with Bobbi Brown, Sam Edelman, Accessorize and Express clothing.
