It’s surprising when an automotive company reaches out with fashion news. Even more surprising when the car in question is one I’m familiar with – odder still when it’s a car I actually like.
Enter the Ford Mustang, a ride iconized by films like Gold Finger, Diamonds are Forever and The Princess Diaries.
Who could forget when Julie Andrews gives Princess Mia, a shining 1966 silver mustang for her 16th birthday?!
But I digress.

To celebrate the Ford Motor Company’s 50th birthday, five fashion designers — Anna Sui, Pamela Love, Francesco Ferrari, Paula Cadematori and Rogan – created a limited, 15-piece collection of graphic tees.
The collection is available on Gilt.com — the luxe fashion e-retailer, known for daily flash sales that inspires spontaneous spending — and is produced by Loomstate, an American-based, eco-conscious company that works with 100 per cent organic cotton.
With a price tag of $39 and sales set throughout October, we predict these graphic tees will be sold out in no time. Plastics at the ready, ladies.
