“[I’ve been] every size on the planet. I have experience dressing me as a six, a 12 and more. And when you go above a size 12, you don’t lose your love of fashion.” In a 2011 interview, she was quoted as saying, “Trying to find stuff that’s still fashion-forward in my size is damn near impossible. It’s either for like a 98-year-old woman or a 14-year-old hooker, and there is nothing in the middle.”
Of this new challenge the actress told WWDshe hopes to inspire women who face the same struggles she has.

McCarthy can currently be seen starring alongside Bill Murray in the film St. Vincent. In 2015, she’ll tackle the roll of Tinkerbell in a live-action film about Peter Pan’s pal.
