Inside Stephanie Seymour’s enormous closet

We’re going to bet if you had a closet like Stephanie Seymour’s, you’d never have one of those, “I have nothing to wear” moments. The 46-year-old model and actress gave Estée Lauder a tour of the expansive space as part of an interview for the beauty brand’s blog, The Estée Edit. Stephanie became the new “face” of the company in spring 2014.

The multi-room closet, which is located in her Connecticut mansion, houses hundreds of pairs of designer shoes, items from her favourite label, AzzedineAlaïa, and at least eight Hermès Birkin bags (which retail for upwards of $20,000), plus some 20 years worth of collected couture wares.

Speaking to Fashionista about the space, the beauty said, “’There is some hanging space, but it’s mostly drawers because you want to keep everything in either boxes, or in acid-free tissue. It’s all climate controlled, of course, and all of the drawers are glass and there’s space on each side for a picture so I can see what’s inside.”

Stephanie also deadbolted the closet door to ensure that her sons, Harry, 18, and Peter Brant Jr., 20, can’t snatch the pieces for personal use! Check out some pictures of the incredible space.
