The royal fashion tour has begun! The Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton , pulled out all the style stops for her first official visit to New York City over the weekend, wowing the crowds in a purple tweed coat teamed with big, bouncy curlsas she arrived in the Big Apple.
For a formal event later that evening, the pregnant princess shone in a black lace number with dazzling diamond earrings.
She wasn't the only royal turning heads this week. Earlier, Queen Máxima of the Netherlandsimpressed royal style watchers when she arrived at the Dutch Sustainable Growth Report in Amsterdam sporting a stylish beige dress and matching flared coat. The royal accessorized her elegant look with black heels, tights and a clutch bag as well as large statement black earrings.
Elsewhere, Princess Victoria of Sweden opted for a chic all-black ensemble with a powder blue collarless coat when she joined her father King Carl XVI Gustaf for the Inauguration of the Norra Lanken tunnel in Stockholm and Norway's Princess Mette-Marit sported a pink and magenta patterned dress with black tights and heels when she and her husband Prince Haakon attended the 75th Anniversary of the Norwegian People's Aid on Friday.
