Hello! Canada staff members pick their top 3 Golden Globes looks

The 2015 Golden Globes were awash in spectacular gowns, stunning beauty looks, nature-inspired accessories and blinding baubles - and as much as we loved the show itself and seeing the stars let loose at after parties, it's the red-carpet glamour we look forward to the most.

Naturally, everyone at Hello! Canada has an opinion on the matter. From seasoned favourites to nominated newcomers, our selections for the best ensembles of the evening are a mixed bag of talent old and new.

Lupita Nyong’o, one of the names that pops up on a number of our lists, was happy to make the transition from newcomer to red-carpet pro. “There was more to be nervous about (last year), this year it’s fun to be on the other side of things,” the 12 Years a Slave star, clad in flowery Giambattista Valli, told Ryan Seacrest.

Other standouts on our lists? Sienna Miller, for one. The mother to baby Marlowe wowed across the board in a creamy, embroidered Miu Miu gown with plunging neckline. "I tried on a few but this one was the one,” she said on the red carpet. We can see why!

Never one to play it safe, Birdman star Emma Stone’s Lanvin jumpsuit also stole our hearts – almost as much as her brother, Spencer, who got some laughs on the red carpet.

But there are also some unexpected additions to our lists, and some duos who just couldn’t be separated (think: fashion plates Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson), plus a couple of fellas.

From our publisher to our writers and photo editors, we never tire of dissecting a red carpet - and sharing our favourite looks. See who made the cut by clicking through the gallery!
