Sienna Miller is poised for a stylish comeback. The actress, who took a break from the spotlight after giving birth to her first child, daughter Marlowe, back in 2012, proved she was still one of Hollywood’s most fashion-forward stars as she attended the 2015 Golden Globes in a whimsical, jewel-encrusted Miu Miu gown.
The 33-year-old boho beauty boasts a unique sense of style among her Hollywood peers – you’ll never catch her in the traditional ball gowns and mermaid hems favoured on the red carpet – and we expect to see a lot more of her (and her fabulous fashion) in the upcoming months.
Sienna is on a bit of a Hollywood hiring hot streak, having starred in two major (and Oscar-nominated) films recently – biographical drama Foxcatcher alongside Channing Tatum, Steve Carrell and Mark Ruffalo, and American Sniper opposite Bradley Cooper.
If all that weren’t enough, the star is headed to broadway in 2015, taking over for Emma Stone in the latest revival of Cabaret. Sienna will play nightclub singer Sally Bowles for the final six week's of the show's run, kicking off on Feb. 17.
Stepping out for the Golden Globes, the 33-year-old wowed in a plunging cream Miu Miu dress with embellished detail.
And on Tuesday night, Sienna had an appearance on friend Jimmy Fallon’s talk show in New York wearing a knitted Céline dress in multicolour stripes.
All eyes were on the actress when she attended the New York premiere of her new film American Sniper, sporting an eye-catching white and sheer Balenciaga dress.
After giving birth to daughter Marlowe in July 2012, Sienna told French newspaper Le Figaro that as a new mother, she didn’t have much time for fashion.
“I don’t know what the new fashion trends are!” she admitted. “With my daughter, Marlow, I don’t have time to follow this anymore.
“I love fashion but I’m not obsessed by it. I love work, my style, but I don’t think only about that, even though some people want to believe the contrary. I don’t wake up in the morning, saying, ‘Hmm, what an icon I am!’
“My life is very different; I’ve got a baby who leaves me only two hours of peace each night.”
