Anyone who watched Sex and the City knows that that show's biggest stars were the couture creations the cast wore on a daily basis - chief among them the shoes and accessories! Now, the sartorial series' leading lady, Sarah Jessica Parker, is redesigning one of her character's favourite clutches for charity.

The 49-year-old mother to three has teamed up with Fendi to recreate their 3Baguette, which just so happened to be Carrie Bradshaw's most beloved tote as she strutted the streets of Manhattan looking for love. In fact, this particular bag is the one snatched from the writer in the series' first season.

Sarah Jessica shared the news of the partnership with her fans on Instagram.

"It's been a thrill and an honor to work alongside Silvia Fendi and the entire @Fendi team to create my very own version of the iconic Baguette," she said in the post, "and I so loved having the opportunity to visit the archives in Rome to help me get started on the creative process."

The one-of-a-kind handbag will be auctioned off on Jan. 27, and proceeds will benefit the Brain Trauma Foundation.

This isn't the first time Sarah Jessica has worked with a major fashion label. She's starred in ad campaigns for the Gap and has worked on several fashion lines, including a popular, eponymous footwear collection. It’s been four years since the second film based on the hit TV series was released, though rumours continue to circulate that we’ll soon see a Sex and the City 3.
