Milan Fashion Week saw some boldly printed and highly conceptual creations grace the catwalks in Italy’s fashion capital, from Dolce and Gabbana’s motherhood-themed show to Moschino’s boldly graffitied ball gowns.
The Spice Girls favourite “Mama” was the soundtrack for a parade of mothers and moms-to-be at Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana’s Fall/Winter 2015 show. With babes in their arms, models showed off a collection of garden-fresh florals and even some maternity wear.
Following up his fast food-inspired collection at Moschino last season, Jeremy Scott found further ways to snag attention with spray-painted formalwear and teddybear-print accessories, lending even more hype to the collection by making it instantly available for purchase.
Other standouts included Gucci’s sheer-panelled dress with fur-lined loafers, Just Cavalli’s modish prints and a frothy red number at Peter Dundas’s last collection for Pucci.
