Kate visits 'Downton Abbey' in a $130 maternity coat
The Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, proved yet again that elegant and trendy looks need not come with eye-popping price tags. Despite the top international designers clamouring to dress her, the down-to-earth royal slid a $130 (CAD), cream-coloured Jojo Maman Bébé coat over her baby bump for an engagement on Thursday (March 12).
The striking brunette, who is eight months pregnant, looked radiant in the cream number, described as the ‘Cream Princess Line Maternity Coat’ on the brand’s website.

“A great investment piece for your maternity wardrobe, our long cream princess coat will fit over your bump at every stage of your pregnancy. The wool-mix fabric gives it a luxurious, cosy feel to keep you warm this season,” reads the coat’s description on the website.
Kate, 33, was visiting the set of much-loved period drama Downton Abbey.
The royal travelled to Ealing Studios in West London to meet the cast and production staff of the TV show, which is shown in 250 territories around the world.
As she arrived at the studios, Kate was greeted by Julian Fellowes, the acclaimed writer of the series.
The Duchess was carrying out her third day of official engagements this week, in spite of her April due date drawing ever closer.
