Rihanna is making fashion history as Dior's first black female spokesmodel. The Barbadian beauty will appear in the fourth instalment of the French fashion brand’s “Secret Garden” campaign series, which is slated for release this spring.
Last week, the singer was spotted at the Palace of Versailles’ Hall of Mirrors wearing a silver sequinned gown, where she was reportedly shooting the ad campaign’s commercial, directed by famed photographer Steven Klein.

Other Dior ambassadors who are often spotted wearing the brand's spectacular garments on red carpets include Oscar-winner Jennifer Lawrence, Marion Cotillard, Natalie Portman and, of course, Charlize Theron, who is famous for her sexy J’adore Dior fragrance commercials.
This isn’t Rihanna's first foray into the fashion world. Aside from regularly sitting front row at fashion weeks in Paris, New York and Milan, the singer has fronted ranges for Armani, launched a line for River Island in 2013 and was recently named a creative director at Puma.
Not content with music and fashion alone, Rihanna is also keen to try her hand at acting. The “Four Five Seconds” singer voices teenage girl Tip in the upcoming DreamWorks animated feature Home, which co-stars Jim Parsons, Jennifer Lopez and Steve Martin and his theatres March 27.
Perhaps Rihanna, 27, is being influenced by her rumoured new movie-star beau, Leonardo DiCaprio. The actor reportedly planned his new girlfriend's lavish Beverly Hills birthday celebration last month, where they were seen "dancing close all night," though the pair have yet to confirm their romance.
