Christian Dior ruled the best celebrity style on red carpets this week, with Dior designs gracing the likes of everyone from Flare cover-girlHailee Steinfeld to Mad Max: Fury Road starCharlize Theron.
Hailee chose a whimsical frock with a striped, accordion-pleated lower half, a vinyl topper and thigh-high patent boots - a sight to behold, in the best way possible.
Kate Mara, Charlize Theron and Kate Bosworth also opted for Dior this week. Ms. Mara attended the house’s mid-winter gala in a glimmering multi-hued tea dress with a perforated overlay, while the latter Kate wowed in a strapless red-and-white column gown topped off with a bright cherry pout, making for a look our Canadian sensibilities just could not resist. Charlize went for a classic look in Paris to debut her film Dark Places, slipping into a sequinned midi dress with semi-sheer paneling and ankle strap pumps.
All-red everything was another trend spotted on the streets this week. Both Hilary Duff and Jamie Chung rocked it in Michelle Mason dresses over the week from coast to coast. On the East Coast, Hilary attended the after-party for her new sitcom, Younger, in a crimson number with a deep neckline and Pink Stitch blazer. And back in Los Angeles, Jamie took a more modest approach in a long-sleeved crossover dress with a peek-a-boo lace underlay.
Also at the top of our list are Kendall and Kylie Jenner. Both killed it in fully monochromatic numbers; Kendall in an avant-garde look by Sally LaPointe featuring a faux-fur sleeved sweatshirt and grey trousers, and Kylie sporting a modern Canadian tuxedo – think knotted button down and distressed mini skirt – while out in L.A.
