The European royals were as thrilled as we are to welcome sunny, warm weather and gave us a first look at their summer style. In Copenhagen, a spirit of celebration filled the air as Queen Margrethe celebrated her 75th birthday.
Princess Mary of Denmark dazzled as she arrived for a dinner at Fredensborg Palace. The elegant royal chose a stunning, sleek silver gown with a high neckline and long sleeves, accessorising with a matching clutch bag and suede silver heels.
Meanwhile, Princess Marie of Denmark also turned heads as she arrived for the same event in a floor-length cream gown with shimmering embellishment and elbow-length sleeves. The chic royal completed her look with a gold clutch bag, peep-toe shoes and a dazzling statement ring.
The birthday celebrations also saw guests including Princess Victoria of Sweden and Princess Mette-Marit of Norway looking as elegant as ever for the glitzy reception held at Copenhagen Town Hall. Princess Mette-Marit chose a chic white coatdress and patent nude stilettos, adding a pop of colour to her ensemble with a red and gold headband.
Princess Victoria also chose a sleek white dress, which featured pockets and embellished trims, with a pearl belt around the waist. The mother-of-one wore her hair up in a chic bun, accessorising with a white headband featuring floral detail. She completed her look with a pair of white heels and a nude quilted clutch bag.
Elsewhere in the world, Zara Tindall made the most of the rare sunny weather in Britain, joining husband Mike for a fun day out at the Crabbie’s Grand National 2015 Day at the Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool.
