Could Princess Beatrice be pursuing a career in fashion? The redheaded royal has been turning heads at the Condé Nast International Luxury Conference this week, showcasing her chic wardrobe choices while mingling with some of the industry's biggest names.
After partying at the sprawling Palazzo Corsini with Ralph Lauren’s son, David Lauren, the 26-year-old princess was seen hobnobbing with International Vogue editor Suzy Menkes and Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld during the first day of the conference, which explores the impact of technology on hard luxury.
Beatrice held her own among the high-society crowd, sporting a black leather jacket teamed with a white collared shirt and an Ikat-print skirt on day one. She was equally elegant for the Place Vendome Qatar Party later that evening, where she wore a little black dress paired with black pointy-toed heels.
Beatrice’s attendance at the star-studded conference had fans wondering if she’s looking to change careers. Last year, the University of London graduate ended her job at Sony Pictures Television and moved to the United States, where it was believed that she was pursuing a career in finance.
However, since leaving Sony last year, Beatrice has been taking advantage of her break between jobs and has been seen holidaying with her long-term boyfriend, Dave Clark, as well as family and friends.
She headed to the Caribbean with her beau over New Year's to catch some winter sun and has also been spotted enjoying a ski trip to Verbier, Switzerland with her cousin, Prince Harry.
This past weekend, she and Dave attended the Bahrain Grand Prix, where she made one unlikely acquaintance when she was introduced to the former king of Spain, Juan Carlos I.
Following royal protocol, Beatrice curtseyed to the 77-year-old ex-monarch, who abdicated from the Spanish throne last summer.
